Simotion C is a motion controller in a format similar to a CPU of the Simatic S7-300 PLC family. The Simotion module is designed for DIN rail mounting and typically communicates with the servo drive system by Profinet or Profibus. Alternatively, Simotion C can be supplied with an interface for 4 or more drives with analog setpoints and TTL encoders.
Simotion C is ideal for multaxis macine retrofit applications where the existing electric servo and/or hydraulic servo axes and feedback devices are retained.
